 Dantesco - Pagano Epic heavy/doom metal band from Puerto Rico whose influences include Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Mercyful Fate and Omen.  Saint Vitus - Live This is a live recording (I think the title gives it away) of a gig they did in Germany back in '89 and its fucking awesome, heavier and more powerful than their studio material I'd say! (and trust me, that slays)

 Funeral Circle - Sinister Sacrilege I bought this EP on Necromanthorn 666's recommendation and I've got to say I'm impressed, its high quality traditional doom with a dose of NWOBHM.

 Nachtmystium - Assassins: Black Meddle Part 1 The long AWOL Biskui first mentioned this little exercise in psychedelic/black metal a while back. Now that I finally lay my hands on it, I have to say I'm really impressed.

ANATHEMA : THE SILENT ENIGMA  This album just never gets old, I grew up in Liverpool and hung around/worked with 3 members of ANATHEMA and spent most of my time in their rehearsal room watching them come up with everything from thee ‘An Lliad Of Woes’ demo through to the 2 tracks they had ready for this album. I know a lot of people think they sound better these days but I think they lost something special when they started to change their sound, they should have stuck with the CELTIC FROST worship instead of slowly turning to the realms of junk like SNOW PATROL!
(But to be fair they Wright much better songs than SNOW PATROL)
