Finnish folk metallers FINNTROLL will embark on a spring North American headlining tour, dubbed "Finnish Metal", with support from MOONSORROW, SWALLOW THE SUN and SURVIVORS ZERO. Brought to you by King Foo Entertainment, the tour will cover over 20 cities in what is hoped to be a yearly event.

April 26. Az, right down a block from where I use to live. That seems more probable than going to the shows here in Texas. lol

I will be seeing Swallow the Sun tonight in Amersfoort. Looking forward to it a lot! It is always a pleasure to see these guys perform on stage since they're both very enthusiastic and professional and they're one of the best doom bands to emerge in recent years imo, with their great mix of extremity and catchiness.

I saw Swallow the Sun not too long ago for the first time. It was pretty mesmerizing. I would like to them again. I've seen Moonsorrow at HC3 and they were awesome. Never seen Finntroll or that other band.

StS were excellent again last night. This was the 5th time I saw them and somehow they always manage to deliver my expectations. They are, imo, one of those rare bands that just oozes love for their own music and respect for the fans who came to see them, regardless of number, when they're on the stage. I have great sympathy for them and of course I really like their music as well.

Finntroll is good as well although I have to admit that I enjoyed their shows more at the start of this decade. Lately they seem to have become a bit less engaging on stage for me. They became pretty big really fast over the last couple of years and I think they know it. Their shows are still worthwhile and they're a great and unique band though, so definitely worth to see.

Moonsorrow is okay as well but i appreciate them more on record than live. Their sound can be pretty progressive at times which somehow doesn't really come out that well on stage.
